How To Install WordPress Offline Using Wamp Server

Did you know that you can install wordpress on your own system for learning and testing purpose? Working offline on wordpress is the best way to test plugin, makes any types of changes before live the website.

So today i want to tell you how to install wordpress offline using wamp server. And how to work offline on wordpress.

To follow some easy steps and you can install easy wordpress in your system.

Step:-1. First things is Wamp sever. So Download the latest version of wampp server. You have to download wampp server as per your system configuration (64bit/32bit). 32 bit wampp also work on 64 bit system. Download wampp server to this link:- http://www.wampserver.com/en/

Step:- 2. After downloading WampServer, click on wampp server and run the installation program and follow screen instructions. In installation process wamp ask for location for browser. By default its- Internet Explorer. You can changes as per your need.

When installation in complete than click on wamp icon.

Step:- 3. Set up database. Go to à Phpmy admin ànd Click on Phpmyadmin.

Step:- 4. Phpmyadmin login screen open in default browser. Username will be Root  by default. Password is not mandatory. You can leave blank.

Step:-5. Click on Go. Once you login click on Database and create new database.

Step:6 Now you have to Download wordpress From wordpress.org. Download wordpress latest version, after downloading unzip the wordpress folder.

Step:7 Now you have to navigate worpress in wamp. We install wamp on c:\\wampp  this path differ, it will be depend on in which drive you installed this program.

Step:8 Copy wordpress folder and paste into :- c:\\wampp\\www folder.

Step:9 you can also rename the wordpress folder as per your need.

Step:10. Now open browser and go to this link:- http://localhost/wordpress/

Step:11. Select langaunge- English and click continue. And again click on Lets Go.

Step:12. Now you have to enter database information.  Enter database name as you created in databse Phpmyadmin.

Step:13. Database username By default is Root. You can leave password filed blank. It is not mandatory.

Step:14. Click on submit button. Again click on Run & Install.

Step:14. Now Enter Site Title Name, WordPress  Username & Password.

Step:15. Click on Install WordPress. When process is complete. Than you can open your Dashboard after login.

Step:16. Now WordPress in installed using wamp server in on your system. Now you can test plugins and make any changes in website or project as per your need.
